What a beautiful day to Golf... this is the day before it started pouring down rain for the next week. It rained enough to get Lexington out of it's 5 month long water restrictions!
Some may think it is easy to identify 5 different bourbons in a blind taste off.... we found out this is not the case. Top scores going to the team of Brooke & Laura who didn't even taste the bourbon & doug with 3 out of 5. The bourbon "Experts" Robert & Billy getting 0 out of 5!
My new favorite passtime. Twice a year, October & April there are races at Keeneland. The whole event was so fun to watch. Bill's dad was great to explain how the betting is done...next time it is the Ketucky Derby.
This is some of the Best Kenucky Bourbon....if you are in to that. It was very facinating to watch the process. Bill was choosen to cork the oak barrel and impressed out tour guide with his strength. He signed the cork so in 8 years we can go back an buy his barrel.
Happy Birthday Molly! What a great night. Molly was surprised but I missed it because I got lost. Real maps are a waste of time. Thank God for Mapquest!
So here we are almost a year in to happily married life! I can not believe how fast time goes by. It seems that all the cool kids are doing this blogging thing, this will be my attempt at sharing our life with our family and friends.
